Dr. Pham grew up in Louisiana after her family immigrated to the United States from Vietnam. She studied biology and graduated as a College of Science University Medalist at Louisiana State University A&M after earning a 4.0 GPA in all semesters. She attended Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans for her Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed her general psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University-Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. She then completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin where Dr. Pham received an award for 'Excellence for Contribution in Reducing Healthcare Disparities and Increasing Diversity and Inclusion.' She is board certified in general psychiatry and child/adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Pham is interested in different modalities of psychotherapy such as psychodynamic, parent management training, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has special interests in eating disorders, community healthcare, increasing access to underserved communities, Asian-American, minority and women's mental health. Dr. Pham is bilingual and also fluent in Vietnamese.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, sustainable fashion/thrifting, antiques and spending time with her family and friends.
